Privacy Policy

• Your account: your name, email and profile picture from Google sign-in.
• Your files and requests: the files you upload, the files Petal makes for you, and what you ask Petal to do.
• Your chats, so you can pick up where you left off.
• Basic usage: things like how many edits you made today, so we can apply daily limits and keep Petal running well.

• Your files are deleted automatically within 24 hours, along with the chats that used them.
• Incomplete direct uploads (staging objects) are also removed by storage lifecycle within about a day, and deleting your account removes your library files and related Petal data immediately.
• They are kept in secure, encrypted storage and are private to your account. Downloads use short-lived links that only work for you.
• Your files and requests are never used to train AI models.

To understand your request, Petal sends it, along with a short description of your files (and sometimes a small page preview), to trusted AI providers that are not allowed to keep or train on it. The editing itself happens on our own servers.

Chats that used files are deleted along with those files, within 24 hours. Chats without files stay until you delete them.

We count visits and feature use with anonymous, cookieless analytics. It does not identify you, and we never record your files, file names or what you type.

Payments are handled by Razorpay (India) or Dodo Payments (international). We never see or store your card or UPI details. We keep only your plan, renewal date and a payment reference.

• Delete any chat from the sidebar at any time.
• Delete your account and all your data from Settings › Account › Delete account.
